Job summary

Jobtailor in Kraków is seeking an experienced Project Manager to independently lead multiple concurrent projects across programs and customer engagements.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, establish governance, coordinate cross-functional teams, and report progress to stakeholders while continuously improving PMO tools and templates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• 3–5 years of project management experience
• Fluent in English
• Ability to independently organize, coordinate, monitor and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
• Strong stakeholder and customer-facing skills
• Ability to lead meetings, communicate project status, drive commitments and influence across functions without direct authority
• Ability to quickly learn and effectively use project management tools and templates
• Strong Microsoft Office, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with project management tools and platforms required
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar project management applications preferred
• Experience in life sciences, laboratory services, scientific instrumentation, engineering, technical services, regulated environments or other complex service-delivery environments preferred
• PRINCE2 or PMP certification preferred
• Additional European languages preferred
• Maintain training and compliance in health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities
• Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required
• Infrequent travel may occasionally be needed

Responsibilities

• Drive projects from initiation through closeout

• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and customer stakeholders
• Drive accountability for agreed milestones and deliverables
• Monitor project health and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and changes
• Escalate matters requiring additional support or decisions
• Establish project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, accountable owners, dependencies and success criteria
• Own project management cadence and governance, including internal and customer-facing meetings, status reporting, actions, decisions, risks, issues, dependencies, change and escalation
• Maintain project plans, schedules, dashboards and governance documentation using established tools and templates
• Provide project reporting to stakeholders and leadership
• Complete project closeout and capture lessons learned and best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO tools, templates and project management practices
