HSBC Holdings plc in Kraków, Poland, is seeking an IT Cost & Contracts Manager to oversee cost management processes across IT areas, ensuring governance and controls, and driving cost savings. You will collaborate with Business Managers, Procurement and COOs to secure the best commercial deals and evidencing cost reduction work.

In this role you will manage IT contracts lifecycle, evaluate renewals, challenge demand, maintain the contracts calendar, and support zero-based budgeting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience in vendor/cost/commercial management or related procurement category roles.
• Track record of identifying cost reduction/optimisation opportunities.
• Solid understanding of procurement sourcing/category management principles and financial concepts.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure platforms and vendor management policies.
• Strong communication skills to influence at all levels.
• Analytical approach to problem solving.
• Experience in managing IT contracts and commercial awareness solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rigorous review and challenge of Third-Party cost submissions with stakeholders to secure optimal deals.
• Support contract lifecycle from an IT perspective, evaluating renewals and demand/requirements.
• Create and maintain a robust governance model for IT expenditure review and cost reduction.
• Build effective stakeholder relationships to elevate commercial awareness and drive decisions.
• Promote a risk-aware culture and adhere to HSBC standards of ethical behavior.
• Develop business cases with investments, benefits, and costs linked to overall finances.
• Support change through clear communication and collaboration with senior management.
