HSBC Holdings plc in Kraków is seeking a Senior IT Cost & Contracts Manager (GCB4) to lead the IT commercial/contract management function. You will oversee contract lifecycle, cost submissions, and governance while partnering with Technology and Procurement to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.

Role requires multi-geography collaboration, strong negotiation, and strategic financial oversight with a focus on cost reduction and robust controls. Occasional travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Experience in vendor, cost and commercial management including cost reduction/optimization programmes.
• Good understanding of procurement sourcing and category management principles.
• Awareness of IT infrastructure platforms/technologies and IT vendor management policies.
• Knowledge of IT global delivery models and future roadmap.
• Ability to work in multi-geography, culturally diverse and time-zone separated roles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
• Analytical with problem solving capabilities.

• Shape and deliver sub-function strategy for IT commercial/contract management.
• Lead global commercial initiatives and manage change across Technology and Procurement.
• Ensure timely contract renewals with governance and approvals.
• Collaborate with Technology and Procurement to optimize volumes and value.
• Maintain contract databases and enhance spend transparency and reporting.
• Build strong governance around internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Develop business cases with benefits realization and alignment to strategy.
• Foster stakeholder relationships and support cross-business collaboration.
