Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Citi Solutions Center Poland. You will help design, implement, and maintain reliable infrastructure for mission‑critical applications, emphasizing observability and automation.

You will work with cutting‑edge tools and modern pipelines (OpenShift, Tekton, Harness) while applying Generative AI to improve reliability and performance. Hybrid work up to 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js as core languages.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with observability concepts, SLOs/SLIs, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, and AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of OpenShift, Tekton, and Harness pipelines is a plus.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions with Grafana, Kibana, and AppDynamics.
• Define SLOs/SLIs for developer pipelines to ensure high availability.
• Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks proactively.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, JavaScript, or Go to streamline tasks.
• Focus on Generative AI initiatives and automation projects.
• Own complex problems and drive resolution with the team.
• Balance proactive solutioning with incident resolution and RCA.
• Analyze logs and metrics for root cause analysis.
