Job summary

Citi Solutions Center Poland is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead the transformation of our production support into a full SRE model. You will design and maintain observability, reliability, and resiliency for our developer tools in a hybrid work environment.

Join a team leveraging Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus and Generative AI, with OpenShift/Tekton/Harness pipelines, and play a key role in incident resolution, capacity planning, and automation through Python/JS/Go.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and pipeline management.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, AppDynamics).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau).
• Understanding of Agile processes.
• Working knowledge of OpenShift, Tekton, and Harness pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) DevOps Support at Citi is at the cusp of a major transformation. The production support team is transitioning to a complete Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) model, leveraging established SRE principles and the latest technologies in Generative AI. We are adopting agile methodologies to advance SRE tasks focused on observability, reliability, and resiliency for our developer tools. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing team. As an SRE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our mission-critical applications and infrastructure. The role requires you to learn and embrace multiple tenets of Support and SRE. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that deliver a seamless experience for our users.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions using tools like Grafana, Kibana, and AppDynamics.
• Define SLOs/SLIs for developer pipeline applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Go to streamline operational tasks.
• Focus on projects related to Generative AI and task automation.
• Take ownership of complex problems and collaborate with the team to drive them to resolution.
• Balance proactive solution-seeking with hands-on incident resolution.
• Analyze system logs and metrics to perform root cause analysis of issues.

As an SRE, you will

• Gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies used by Citi, such as Tekton and Harness on OpenShift.
• Gain hands-on experience in Generative AI implementation and building automation models from idea inception to product delivery.
• Learn the end-to-end process of building observability for supported applications and participate in designing SLOs/SLIs to improve application performance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js (preferred).
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and pipeline management.
• Basic understanding of observability principles and SLOs/SLIs.
• Experience using monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, and AppDynamics.
• Basic working knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Understanding of Agile concepts and processes.
• Working or theoretical knowledge of OpenShift, Tekton, and Harness pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
