Job summary

Sabre Polska Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking a Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead a team responsible for availability, performance, and reliability of the Sabre Web Services platform.

You will drive incident management, cloud modernization, and automation, coach engineers, and partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture and Infrastructure to achieve SLOs and reliability targets at global scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience, including managing engineers and developing teams.
• Experience in operating large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Understanding of observability, monitoring, alerting, incident management, capacity planning, and reliability principles.
• Practical experience with automation, analytics, AI-assisted tooling, or generative AI to improve productivity.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SRE engineers responsible for availability, performance, resiliency, and evolution of Sabre Web Services platform.
• Drive operational excellence across Sabre's API gateway ecosystem for global scale.
• Lead incident management, reliability initiatives, cloud modernization, and automation programs.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and career development for engineers.
• Set and achieve Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and reliability targets with cross-functional partners.
• Promote automation and AI-enabled operational practices to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
