Job summary

Citi is expanding its Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Practice in Poland, building a resilient, observable and scalable platform for developer tools. The role focuses on implementing monitoring, reliability, and automation across mission-critical applications and infrastructure.

You will work with Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus and AppDynamics while exploring Generative AI-driven improvements. A hybrid work model applies, with compensation tied to market ranges in the region.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js (preferred).
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and pipeline management.
• Basic understanding of observability principles and SLOs/SLIs.
• Experience using monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, and AppDynamics.
• Basic working knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Understanding of Agile concepts and processes.
• Working or theoretical knowledge of OpenShift, Tekton, and Harness pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions using Grafana, Kibana, and AppDynamics.
• Define SLOs/SLIs for developer pipeline applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Go to streamline operational tasks.
• Focus on projects related to Generative AI and task automation.
• Take ownership of complex problems and collaborate with the team to drive them to resolution.
• Balance proactive solution-seeking with hands-on incident resolution.
• Analyze system logs and metrics to perform root cause analysis of issues.
