Job summary

GFT Technologies SE in Poland is seeking an accomplished Cloud Solutions Architect to shape and deliver cloud-based data solutions. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to define target architectures, security models, integration patterns and governance.

The role requires hands-on GCP expertise, enterprise data platform design, and leadership across project lifecycles. You will drive architecture discussions, promote IaC with Terraform, and ensure secure, scalable solutions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in solution or cloud architecture roles.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data integration solutions.
• Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking and security architecture.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD.

What will you do?

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering cloud-based data solutions, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to define target architectures, security models, integration patterns and operational frameworks. As a trusted technical advisor, you will provide architectural leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure and well-governed solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.

Your tasks

• Design end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-based data platforms and services
• Define secure data onboarding, integration and sharing patterns
• Lead architecture discussions with stakeholders across business and technology teams
• Design GCP-based services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM and networking components
• Define infrastructure-as-code and automation approaches
• Ensure compliance with security, governance and data management requirements
• Support technical decision-making during the implementation phase
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering and platform teams
• Produce architecture documentation, diagrams and technical specifications
• Drive solution design ownership and architecture governance across the project lifecycle

Your skills

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or cloud architecture roles
• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data integration solutions
• Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking and security architecture
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation practices
• Understanding of enterprise security, governance and compliance requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or financial services
• Knowledge of data products or data governance frameworks
• Experience working within large enterprise cloud transformation programmes
• Familiarity with DataOps and platform engineering concepts
