GFT TECHNOLOGIES SE in Kraków is seeking a Solution Architect with GCP to shape cloud-based data solutions in a hybrid work setting.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define target architectures, security models, and governance while leading architectural decisions across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 8+ years in cloud architecture, hands-on GCP, and experience with BigQuery, Terraform, and data integration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solution or cloud architecture roles.
• Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.
• Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data integration.
• Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking and security architecture.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
• Understanding of enterprise security, governance and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Working place: Hybrid

Type of contract: Employment contract

Salary range: 24500 - 37500 PLN gross

What will you do?

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering cloud-based data solutions, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to define target architectures, security models, integration patterns and operational frameworks. As a trusted technical advisor, you will provide architectural leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure and well‑governed solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.

• Design end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-based data platforms and services
• Define secure data onboarding, integration and sharing patterns
• Lead architecture discussions with stakeholders across business and technology teams
• Design GCP-based services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM and networking components
• Define infrastructure-as-code and automation approaches
• Ensure compliance with security, governance and data management requirements
• Support technical decision‑making during the implementation phase
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering and platform teams
• Produce architecture documentation, diagrams and technical specifications
• Drive solution design ownership and architecture governance across the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or cloud architecture roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data integration solutions
• Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking and security architecture
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation practices
• Understanding of enterprise security, governance and compliance requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or financial services
• Knowledge of data products or data governance frameworks
• Experience working within large enterprise cloud transformation programmes
• Familiarity with DataOps and platform engineering concepts
