Job summary

ZF Group is seeking a Software Engineer for EOL flashing and diagnostics to support ECU production processes. You will focus on flashing stations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and software release support in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires knowledge of embedded systems, C/Python, and automotive protocols (UDS, CAN/CAN FD, TCP/IP, UDP). Fluency in English and Polish is expected. Hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience with embedded systems and firmware flashing processes.
• Knowledge of automotive communication and diagnostic protocols (UDS, CAN/CAN FD, TCP/IP, UDP).
• Experience with automotive tools such as CANoe or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain ECU flashing and diagnostic processes at EOL stations.
• Analyze and resolve software-related production issues and NOK boards.
• Configure and debug flashing and test equipment.
• Support deployment and industrialization of new software releases.
• Analyze communication logs and diagnostic traces.
• Collaborate with software development, manufacturing, quality, and cybersecurity teams.
• Contribute to FPY and process improvement activities.
