Job summary

Be | Shaping the Future Poland is seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer on a fixed-term B2B contract to cover maternity leave until March 2027. The role focuses on managing incidents, problems and changes, and ensuring service continuity across financial services environments.

You will collaborate with test and development teams, implement improvement plans, and contribute to robust monitoring and on-call readiness. Prior Linux, SQL, cloud, and networking tooling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree, preferably Computer Science-related area.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in site reliability engineering or IT support-related roles.
• Knowledge of Linux (basic – scripting + basic commands), SQL, cloud platforms and networking tools (F5/HaProxy) is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve incidents, problems and changes
• Quickly and accurately determine impact in case of (high level) incidents, estimate resolution times and establish counter measures
• Initiate improvement plans and prevention of problems
• Support test and development teams
• Produce quality improvement plans, business continuity plans, operating instructions
