Job summary

Be | Shaping the Future Poland is seeking a Technical System Analyst to work remotely from Poland. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, translate requirements for development teams, and model processes using UML and BPMN.

You will analyze data from SQL sources, validate REST APIs with Postman, and contribute to quality through documentation, acceptance testing, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as IT/System/Business Analyst
• Experience in banking/financial services or fintech
• Knowledge of Cobol/Mainframe or DB2
• Experience with Agile development and cross-functional teams
• Ability to gather and document requirements and create specs
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis
• Proficient in UML and BPMN modeling
• Familiar with REST APIs and Postman

Responsibilities

Technical System Analyst

Location: Remote from Poland

Contract Type: B2B

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Design and document business processes, system flows, use cases, and other analytical artifacts using UML and BPMN.
• Analyze and validate data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, CSV files, and other data repositories, to support business and technical decisions.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, working closely with developers and QA engineers to ensure requirements are correctly implemented.
• Review and validate REST API integrations using Postman or similar tools.
• Support requirement refinement, solution design, and acceptance activities to ensure high-quality deliveries.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure it remains up to date.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing analysis standards and best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an IT/System/Business Analyst, preferably within the banking, financial services, or fintech sector.
• Knowledge of Cobol/Mainframe or DB2
• Proven experience working closely with software development and testing teams in Agile environments.
• Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Hands-on experience preparing analytical documentation, including functional specifications, process models, use cases, user stories, and system diagrams.
• Practical knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience using UML and BPMN for process and system modeling.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and hands-on experience with Postman (or similar API testing tools).
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
• Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and willingness to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
• Based in Poland.
