Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate a multi-cloud provisioning platform. You will act as a core technical authority, drive automation, and define reliability standards while mentoring the engineering team.

You will architect for reliability and performance across production stacks, implement end-to-end automation, define SLIs/SLOs, and collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to embed reliability and security early in the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Software Engineering, DevOps or Systems Infrastructure.
• 3+ years AWS architecture and troubleshooting.
• Proven production Kubernetes cluster scaling and provisioning.
• Autonomous architectural decision-making and delivering production-ready infrastructure.
• Strong English communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Residency in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive reliability, scalability, and performance of our multi-cloud provisioning platform across production stacks.
• Implement end-to-end automation pipelines to eliminate manual intervention and reduce toil.
• Define, monitor, and improve SLIs/SLOs to support data-driven architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to embed reliability and security in the SDLC.
• Design robust incident detection, triage incidents, and lead Root Cause Analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Audit platform operations to identify bottlenecks and reduce structural complexity.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and design, build, and operate a product-driven, highly automated multi-cloud provisioning platform. In this role, you will act as a core technical authority, driving automation and defining reliability standards while mentoring the engineering team. Your tasks

• Architect and drive the reliability, scalability, and performance of our multi-cloud provisioning platform across all production stacks
• Implement end-to-end automation pipelines to eliminate manual intervention and reduce technical toil
• Define, monitor, and improve critical system health indicators (SLIs/SLOs) to make data-driven architectural recommendations
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional engineering teams to embed reliability and security considerations early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Design robust incident detection mechanisms, triage critical incidents, and lead deep Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement long-term preventative engineering solutions
• Audit platform operations to identify bottlenecks, eliminate single points of failure, and reduce structural complexity

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Infrastructure
• At least 3 years of advanced expertise with AWS, including architecting and troubleshooting cloud environments
• Proven experience managing, scaling, and provisioning Kubernetes clusters in production
• Demonstrated autonomy in making architectural decisions and delivering production-ready, automated infrastructure without daily supervision
• Strong technical communication skills with the ability to align with Technical Leads and collaborate across engineering teams
• Advanced level of English and residency in Poland

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in Python
