Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate a product-driven, highly automated multi-cloud provisioning platform. You will be a core technical authority, driving automation and defining reliability standards while mentoring the engineering team.

You will tackle scalability, incident management, and hands-on automation with AWS, Kubernetes, and related cloud tooling, collaborating with product teams to promote secure, robust software

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, DevOps or systems infrastructure
• 3+ years AWS experience including architecture and troubleshooting
• Production experience managing, scaling and provisioning Kubernetes clusters
• Ability to make architectural decisions and deliver automated infrastructure
• Strong English and residency in Poland

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive reliability, scalability, and performance of multi-cloud provisioning platform
• Implement end-to-end automation pipelines to reduce manual toil
• Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs and provide data-driven architectural recommendations
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to embed reliability and security early in SDLC
• Design robust incident detection, lead RCA and implement long-term fixes
• Audit platform operations to reduce bottlenecks and single points of failure

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and design, build, and operate a product-driven, highly automated multi-cloud provisioning platform. In this role, you will act as a core technical authority, driving automation and defining reliability standards while mentoring the engineering team. Your tasks

• Architect and drive the reliability, scalability, and performance of our multi-cloud provisioning platform across all production stacks
• Implement end-to-end automation pipelines to eliminate manual intervention and reduce technical toil
• Define, monitor, and improve critical system health indicators (SLIs/SLOs) to make data-driven architectural recommendations
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional engineering teams to embed reliability and security considerations early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Design robust incident detection mechanisms, triage critical incidents, and lead deep Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement long-term preventative engineering solutions
• Audit platform operations to identify bottlenecks, eliminate single points of failure, and reduce structural complexity

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Infrastructure
• At least 3 years of advanced expertise with AWS, including architecting and troubleshooting cloud environments
• Proven experience managing, scaling, and provisioning Kubernetes clusters in production
• Demonstrated autonomy in making architectural decisions and delivering production-ready, automated infrastructure without daily supervision
• Strong technical communication skills with the ability to align with Technical Leads and collaborate across engineering teams
• Advanced level of English and residency in Poland

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in Python
