Job summary

Kognitiv Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to partner with clients and internal teams, ensuring maximum value from Workday investments. This role involves implementing Workday solutions, managing medium to high complexity projects, and guiding teams through design, testing, and go-live phases.

You will lead client sessions, propose process improvements, and mentor colleagues while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience leading and deploying Workday implementations, supporting Workday Post Production / AMS Services, or as a client of Workday.
• Deep knowledge of Workday Recruiting, Talent, Performance as well at least one additional Workday module (Adv. Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Learning, Benefits, Core HCM, Security and Reporting Prism, BIRT).
• Ability to lead medium to large projects for the full project lifecycle in areas(s) of expertise– from initial scoping/planning, discovery, design, testing, and go live.
• Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects of all sizes in both supporting and leadership roles.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards with no supervision.
• Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction; strong client focus with the ability to understand client needs and build relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues in a remote working environment.
• Strong consulting skills and a proven ability to influence a wide variety of audiences.
• Willingness and ability to mentor and/or manage other consultants.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Ability to meet travel requirements (<5% a year).

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Workday solutions for a global customer base. Design, configure, test, and deploy business requirements across multiple Workday HCM module(s).
• Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements. Assess client needs and propose recommendations to meet goals.
• Lead, consult, execute, and prioritize conflicting demands on medium to high complexity projects across multiple, concurrent clients.
• Discuss and articulate lessons learned and Workday best practices to clients; reinforce Kognitiv's point of view.
• Manage project scope, quality, and timeline; provide guidance and coaching to team members.
• Perform research on problems, identify true causes, and present corrective measures to the client.
• Contribute to knowledge management with Q&A, deliverables, and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Act as a mentor and coach for less experienced team members.
• Strive to innovate and propose new approaches to deploy Workday efficiently.
• Gain intermediate understanding of touchpoints and integrations across Workday areas.
• Meet key performance indicators such as utilization targets and customer satisfaction scores.
