Job summary

GamePoint, a leading game developer, seeks a Senior Unity Technical Artist to join a remote-friendly team. You will collaborate with artists and programmers to shape visuals and performance across mobile and PC platforms.

Lead shader development, UI mockups, and asset pipelines, while optimizing lighting, materials, and the Addressable system for live events. A portfolio demonstrating Unity skills is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with 2D animation and particle systems in Unity.
• Proficient in Unity and C# development.
• Knowledge of shader development (HLSL) and Unity rendering pipelines (URP/HDRP).
• Understanding of technical constraints, optimization, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Actively problem-solve art ideas and processes to budget and performance.
• Develop and optimize shaders, materials, and lighting for visual quality and performance.
• Define staging for Unity projects.
• Optimize graphics and layouts; create mock-ups for Unity programmers.
• Implement an effective, flexible UI for mobile platforms.
• Create mock-up interfaces for mobile games.
• Update live events using the Addressable system.
• Continuous performance and build size optimization.
• Create documentation and mentor content developers.
