11 bit studios S.A. in Warszawa seeks a Senior/Expert Technical Artist to help craft high-quality materials and technical art solutions for Frostpunk 1886. You will collaborate with artists and programmers, build shaders and tools in UE5, and keep assets optimized and production-ready.

The role offers the chance to contribute to a renowned project, work with a skilled team, and develop advanced techniques in real-time rendering, performance profiling, and tooling across the studio.

Qualifications

• Senior level requirements include strong knowledge of UE materials and shading workflows.
• Deep understanding of the UE5 rendering pipeline (PBR, post-processing).
• Experience with UE Blueprints for tools or gameplay-supporting systems.
• Practical problem solving and optimization skills.
• At least one shipped title or completed commercial project.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality materials and shaders in UE5.
• Build and maintain Blueprint- and code-based tools for the art team.
• Create and update documentation for tools, workflows, and engine limitations.
• Assist with optimization, profiling, and debugging in the final product.
• Work with Art Leads, Technical Directors, programmers, and QA to meet technical requirements.
