Job summary

11 bit studios S.A. is seeking a Senior/Expert Technical Artist to help us create high-quality materials and technical art solutions for Frostpunk 1886. You will work closely with artists and programmers, build shaders and tools in UE5, and help keep assets optimized and production-ready.

You will work in a hybrid setting in Warsaw, collaborating with Art Leads, Technical Directors, and QA to ensure assets meet technical requirements while advancing rendering quality and tooling workflows.

Qualifications

• Senior/Expert level in technical art with focus on Unreal Engine 5.
• Experience shipping titles or major projects.
• Strong understanding of rendering pipelines and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality materials and shaders in UE5.
• Build and maintain Blueprint- and code-based tools for the art team.
• Document tools, workflows, and engine limitations.
• Support optimization, profiling, and debugging.
• Collaborate with art leads, TDs, programmers and QA to meet technical requirements.
