The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a technically strong, commercially minded Renewable Energy Consultant with 5+ years of experience in solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will lead TDD/LTA assignments, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and provide client-facing technical insights across Poland.

Responsibilities include reviewing design and grid connection aspects, supporting Owner's Engineering, and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in renewable energy technical advisory or engineering consultancy.
• Proven delivery of TDD/LTA or similar assignments.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar PV projects; BESS experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of Polish market, permitting and grid connection.
• Experience managing projects and aligning with clients.

TGRC has partnered with an independent renewable energy consultancy specialising in technical advisory and engineering services across the renewable energy sector. With an established international presence, the business supports projects across solar PV, wind, battery energy storage, green hydrogen and hybrid energy solutions.

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded professional with proven experience across solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The successful candidate will be confident independently managing technical advisory assignments, while building and maintaining relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate Technical Due Diligence (TDD) and Lender's Technical Advisory (LTA) assignments for utility-scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
• Manage technical assessments covering project design, permitting, grid connection, technology selection, construction readiness and project risks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and specialist consultants to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical reports and recommendations.
• Review technical documentation, identify potential project risks and provide practical recommendations to investors, developers and lenders.
• Support Owner's Engineering assignments throughout project development and construction phases.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Provide technical insight into the Polish renewable energy market, including local regulations, permitting procedures and grid connection requirements.
• Contribute to business development activities by identifying new opportunities and supporting the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local developers, investors, financial institutions and industry partners.
• Play an active role in developing and expanding the company's renewable energy advisory services across Poland.
• Travel to project sites and client meetings as required.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical or Energy Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant professional experience within the renewable energy sector, ideally in technical advisory or engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience delivering Technical Due Diligence (TDD), Lender's Technical Advisory (LTA) or similar technical consultancy assignments.
• Strong technical knowledge of utility-scale solar PV projects, with experience in BESS considered highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of the Polish renewable energy market, including permitting processes, grid connection requirements and local industry practices.
• Experience managing projects, coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and engaging directly with clients.
• Professional proficiency in both Polish and English.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive and independent approach, with a strong sense of ownership and commercial awareness.
• Willingness to travel throughout Poland and occasionally internationally.
