WiseGlow is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to take technical ownership of electrical engineering activities across our renewable energy projects in Poland. This hands-on leadership role covers the full project lifecycle, from development and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.

You will lead electrical engineering for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS, review MV/HV designs and grid connection work, support feasibility studies and CAPEX

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or a related field.
• Strong experience in utility-scale renewable energy, preferably Solar PV and/or BESS.
• Good understanding of MV/HV systems, substations and grid connection.

Responsabilités

• Lead and review electrical engineering for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
• Review designs covering MV/HV systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, protection, cabling and grid connection infrastructure.
• Support feasibility studies, technical evaluations and CAPEX assessments during project development.
• Review and challenge technical deliverables from EPC contractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Support tendering, technical bid evaluation and major equipment selection.
• Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, energization and handover.
• Ensure compliance with Polish grid requirements and applicable IEC/EN standards.
• Contribute to WiseGlow’s engineering standards and local technical capability in Poland.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role covering the full project lifecycle, from development and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review electrical engineering for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
• Review designs covering MV/HV systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, protection, cabling and grid connection infrastructure.
• Support feasibility studies, technical evaluations and CAPEX assessments during project development.
• Review and challenge technical deliverables from EPC contractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Support tendering, technical bid evaluation and major equipment selection.
• Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, energization and handover.
• Ensure compliance with Polish grid requirements and applicable IEC/EN standards.
• Contribute to WiseGlow’s engineering standards and local technical capability in Poland.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or a related field.
• Strong experience in utility-scale renewable energy, preferably Solar PV and/or BESS.
• Solid knowledge of MV/HV systems, substations and grid connection.
• Experience working with EPC contractors and external engineering consultants.
• Practical construction and/or commissioning experience.
• Good understanding of the Polish power market and grid connection environment.
• Professional English; Polish is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Poland.

Experience in BESS, HV substations, protection systems, power system studies or commissioning is a strong advantage.
