ATA Renewables is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to strengthen its renewable energy advisory presence in Poland. The role focuses on leading TDD and LTA for solar PV and BESS, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and building client relationships to drive project success.

The candidate will bring 5+ years of renewable energy advisory experience, strong Polish and English communication skills, and the ability to travel within Poland and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, civil, mechanical or energy engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in renewable energy technical advisory or engineering consultancy.
• Experience in Technical Due Diligence or Lender's Technical Advisory.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar PV; BESS experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of Polish renewable energy market, permitting and grid connection.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating technical teams with client interaction.
• Professional proficiency in Polish and English.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, independent mindset with commercial awareness.
• Willingness to travel within Poland and sometimes internationally.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate Technical Due Diligence and Lender's Technical Advisory assignments for utility-scale solar PV and BESS.
• Manage technical assessments covering design, permitting, grid connection, technology, construction readiness and risks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and consultants to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Review technical documentation, identify risks and provide practical recommendations to investors, developers and lenders.
• Support Owner's Engineering assignments during development and construction.
• Act as the technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Provide insights into the Polish renewable energy market, including regulations and grid requirements.
• Support business development and contribute to technical and commercial proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with local developers, investors and financial institutions.
• Travel to project sites and meet clients as needed.

Senior Technical Advisor - Renewable Energy Poland

ATA Renewables is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Advisor to strengthen its presence in Poland and support the continued growth of its renewable energy advisory business.

We are seeking a technically strong and commercially minded professional with solid experience in solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS), capable of independently managing technical advisory assignments and developing relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to take a key role in delivering high-quality technical consultancy services while contributing to ATA Renewables' expansion in the Polish market.

Your role:

• Leading and coordinating Technical Due Diligence (TDD) and Lender's Technical Advisory (LTA) assignments for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects.
• Managing technical assessments covering project design, permitting, grid connection, technology, construction readiness and project risks.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and specialist consultants to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Reviewing technical documentation, identifying key risks and providing practical recommendations to investors, developers and lenders.
• Supporting Owner's Engineering assignments during project development and construction.
• Acting as a key technical point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Providing insight into the Polish renewable energy market, including local regulations, permitting procedures and grid connection requirements.
• Supporting business development activities, identifying new opportunities and contributing to technical and commercial proposals.
• Building and maintaining relationships with local developers, investors, financial institutions and industry partners.
• Supporting the development of ATA Renewables' advisory activities in Poland.
• Travelling to project sites and client meetings when required.

• A degree in electrical, civil, mechanical or energy engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in renewable energy, preferably in technical advisory or engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in Technical Due Diligence, Lender's Technical Advisory or similar technical consultancy assignments.
• Strong technical knowledge of utility-scale solar PV projects; experience with BESS is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of the Polish renewable energy market, including permitting, grid connection and local industry practices.
• Experience managing projects, coordinating technical teams and interacting directly with clients.
• Professional proficiency in Polish and English.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, independent mindset with strong ownership and commercial awareness.
• Willingness to travel within Poland and occasionally internationally.
