Job summary

Amentum is expanding its Integrated Delivery Solutions team in Kraków and Warsaw, and seeks a Structural Engineer/Projektant Konstrukcji to join the IDS group. You will lead structural analyses and develop design deliverables for regulated infrastructure, industrial, and energy projects across Europe, working with a multi‑disciplinary team while applying UK/Eurocode standards.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (MSc/MEng preferred).
Chartered (CEng/MIStructE) or actively working toward chartership.
6+ years delivering structural engineering design in highly regulated sectors (defence, industrial, infrastructure, energy).
Familiarity with Eurocodes (EN 1990-1999) and UK standards; familiarity with US codes is an advantage.
Fluent English (B2 or higher) and Polish (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for steel, RC; contribute to timber and masonry design where applicable.
Develop and own engineering deliverables: calculation packages, basis-of-design, design reports, general arrangement and detail drawings, specifications.
Apply codes EN 1990-1993, EN 1997, EN 1998 where seismic is relevant; ensure client governance compliance.
Conduct global and local analysis (static, dynamic, stability, fatigue, robustness checks); review models and assumptions.
Coordinate with Architecture, Civil, Geotechnical, MEP, Fire, Safety, and Construction teams.
Review and mentor less experienced engineers; provide guidance on methods, standards and tools.
Provide site/field engineering support (RFI responses, non-conformance dispositions, as-built review).
Maintain QA/QC, calculation files and design records per IDS governance.
