Job summary

Amentum is building a new Integrated Delivery Solutions (IDS) team in Kraków and Warsaw and seeks a Structural Engineer to lead design and analyses across regulated sectors. You will deliver calculations, drawings, and specifications, align with EN, UK, and US references, and collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams.

Based in Poland with occasional UK/European exposure, you will mentor junior engineers, support field activities, and ensure QA/QC in IDS governance while using BIM workflows

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (MSc/MEng preferred).
• Chartered or actively working toward chartership.
• 6+ years delivering structural design in regulated sectors (defense, industrial, infrastructure, energy).
• Familiarity with Eurocodes (EN 1990-1999) and BS standards; UK NA advantageous.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and finite element modelling; ability to prepare calculation packages.
• Fluent English (B2+) and Polish (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel and RC; contribute to timber/masonry where applicable.
• Develop and own engineering deliverables: calculation packages and drawings.
• Apply EN and BS codes; ensure client governance and project standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and review colleagues' work.
• Provide site/field support and assist with RFI responses and QA/QC.
