Job summary

Amentum's Integrated Delivery Solutions team is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join Jobtailor in Kraków. You will develop 3D models and 2D drawings for concrete and steel, perform structural analysis under supervision, and prepare calculation reports for regulated projects.

You will work in BIM environments (Revit/Tekla), interact with multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to governance and client requirements while building expertise in reinforced concrete and steel design.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BSc/MSc).
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Experience using Eurocodes (EN 1990–1999).
• Experience in Revit and/or Tekla.
• Experience in RSAP, Staad Pro, SAP2000 or other finite element software.
• Fluent in English (B2 or higher) and Polish.
• Willingness to learn and work within highly regulated sectors (defence, energy, industrial).
• Solid understanding of structural engineering principles for reinforced concrete and steel.
• Ability to solve straightforward engineering problems using standard methods and supervision.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Polish.
• Ability to interact with BIM models.
• Good attention to detail; follows procedures and applies feedback to improve quality.

Responsibilities

• Support Amentum’s Integrated Delivery Solutions team in delivering structural engineering inputs for design and construction projects across highly regulated sectors.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for concrete and steel structures.
• Support structural analysis and design under senior engineer supervision.
• Perform calculations and checks for structural elements using finite element method or hand calculation.
• Prepare calculation reports.
• Work in BIM environments including Revit and Tekla.
• Conduct model reviews and clash checks.
• Work in Staad Pro, SAP2000, IdeaStatica, and Mathcad.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary and international teams.
• Build technical knowledge and familiarity with processes, project governance, and client requirements.
• Contribute to engineering deliverables and process improvements.
