Job summary

Amentum invites a Civil Engineer to join the IDS team in Kraków. You will lead civil design tasks, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure deliverables meet UK/European standards and client governance.

The role emphasizes rigorous technical delivery across defence, industrial, energy and infrastructure sectors. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in civil design, strong BIM experience, and fluency in English; based in Poland with projects aligning to international standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (MSc/MEng preferred).
• Significant experience (typically 6+ years) in civil engineering design within infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of UK/European standards; familiarity with US codes is an advantage.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, drainage/hydrology tools, and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design tasks for site development, drainage, earthworks, pavements and associated infrastructure.
• Prepare and check technical deliverables, calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, MEP, Architecture, Fire and Environmental disciplines.
• Review junior engineers' work; mentor team members and ensure quality and governance.
• Support digital deliverables and BIM coordination with CAD/BIM teams.
• Engage with stakeholders and manage design changes and TQs.
