Job summary

Amentum's Integrated Delivery Solutions (IDS) team in Kraków and Warsaw is seeking a Senior Assistant Structural Engineer to support design and construction projects across regulated sectors. You will develop 3D models and 2D drawings, perform structural analysis under supervision, and contribute to deliverables while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BSc/MSc).
2-5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
Experience using Eurocodes (EN 1990–1999).
Experience in Revit and/or Tekla.
Experience in RSAP, Staad Pro, SAP2000 or other finite element software.
Fluent in English (B2 or higher) and Polish.
Willingness to learn and work within highly regulated sectors (defence, energy, industrial).

Responsibilities

Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for concrete and steel structures.
Support structural analysis and design under senior engineer supervision.
Perform calculations and checks for structural elements using finite element methods or hand calculation, preparing calculations reports.
Work in BIM environments (Revit / Tekla), including model reviews and clash checks.
Work in Staad Pro, SAP2000, IdeaStatica, Mathcad.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
