Job summary

AgileEngine in Szczecin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to define an agentic-first approach to software development. You will design agentic workflows using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI orchestration patterns for production systems with emphasis on security, reliability, and auditability for enterprise customers.

You will mentor engineers, build reusable patterns, and integrate agents into end-to-end software lifecycles while collaborating with product leadership to deliver meaningful

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a software product development environment.
• Strong proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and React.
• Strong proficiency with Relational Databases.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents or orchestrated workflows.
• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, vector search, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into practical technical solutions.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows that coordinate tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration and context management.
• Use agentic coding tools across the lifecycle: planning, implementation, testing, debugging, review, documentation.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, support, and operations.
• Establish standards for evaluation, observability, reliability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new capabilities and turn experiments into production systems.
• Build complete, usable products, not just demos.
• Identify opportunities to boost engineering productivity and delivery.
• Mentor engineers and shape an agentic-first strategy.
• Collaborate with leaders to connect capabilities to outcomes.
• Design agentic apps around real user needs, including UX, permissions, audit trails, and error handling.
• Move solutions from prototype to production with performance, scalability, and cost considerations.
