Job summary

AgileEngine, a leader in software development, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design agentic workflows using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI orchestration patterns. You will turn experiments into production systems with a focus on security, reliability, and auditability for enterprise customers.

You will mentor engineers, develop reusable orchestration patterns, integrate agents across build and deployment lifecycles, and collaborate with product and engineering leaders to deliver robust,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a software product development environment.
• Strong proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and React.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Hands-on AI agents, tool-using LLM apps, or orchestrated workflows.
• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, vector search, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Proven ability to use AI coding agents as productive engineering collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Develop reusable agent orchestration patterns and context management.
• Use agentic tooling across planning, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Establish standards for evaluation, observability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new agentic capabilities and scale successful experiments to production.
• Deliver complete, usable products and not just demonstrations.
• Mentor engineers and shape an agentic-first technical strategy.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to tie capabilities to outcomes.
• Design agentic apps around real user needs with robust error handling and audit trails.
• Move solutions from prototype to production addressing performance, cost, and maintenance.
