Job summary

FOSS group is seeking a Senior Software Asset & License Manager in Poland to own software license and contract management across the organization, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance. You will lead usage reviews, renewals and audit preparations in collaboration with Indirect Procurement.

The role requires 5+ years of licensing experience with Microsoft and familiarity with SAP or Salesforce licensing, strong Excel skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software license management and management of software license contracts.
• Experience licensing major enterprise vendors such as Microsoft; SAP or Salesforce licensing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (subscription, SaaS, perpetual, enterprise agreements).
• Commercial understanding of pricing structures, contract terms and renewal processes.
• Proven experience negotiating software license renewals and contract terms with vendors or resellers.
• Structured, analytical and detail-oriented, with strong Excel skills.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proactive and cost-conscious mindset.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Own software license and license contract management for key vendors from usage reviews to renewals.
• Lead renewal negotiations for assigned vendors in collaboration with Indirect Procurement.
• Prepare audits and provide commercial analysis ahead of vendor negotiations.
• Support development of software asset management processes and IT landscape standardization.

About role

The Senior Software Asset & License Manager is part of the IT Operations team and works alongside our Software Asset & License Manager to ensure that software assets across the organization are compliant, well documented and optimized from both a cost and usage perspective.

In this role you will take hands-on ownership of software license and license contract management for key vendors – from usage reviews and renewals to audit preparation and commercial analysis ahead of vendor negotiations as well as be leading renewal negotiations for assigned vendors in close cooperation with Indirect Procurement.

As a key contributor to cost optimization and risk mitigation, you will help further develop our software asset management processes and support the standardization and efficiency of the global IT landscape.

Qualifications and personal skills:

• At least 5 years’ experience in software license management and management of software license contracts
