Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking a data engineer to join a Nordic-financial client on a banking risk management project. You will help design and implement scalable data solutions and collaborate with finance, treasury, and risk teams.

In this role you’ll build ETL/ELT pipelines with Snowflake and SQL, support balance sheet stress testing and regulatory reporting, and ensure data quality and governance across multiple source systems in an international, English-speaking environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and enterprise data warehousing.
• Extensive ETL/ELT development and data transformation.
• Solid understanding of banking processes including Balance Sheet Management, Stress Testing, Risk Management, Treasury, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and SQL.
• Analyze banking requirements related to balance sheet stress testing and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with finance, treasury, risk teams, and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Build and optimize data models supporting financial analysis and management reporting.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, aggregation, and quality checks across source systems.
• Ensure data governance, lineage, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive improvements in data processing and support end-to-end delivery from requirements to production deployment.
