Job summary

Generativx in Warsaw, Poland is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer for a permanent hybrid role. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, implement ELT workflows in Snowflake, and optimize data quality and performance across cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in data engineering, deep Snowflake expertise, strong SQL, dbt, Python and Airflow, plus API integration skills. Local work eligibility is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive professional experience in software engineering, data warehousing, and big data architecture.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake architecture, data modeling, warehousing, and SQL performance tuning.
• Deep practical knowledge of dbt and advanced SQL.
• Proficiency in Python and Apache Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines using Snowflake.
• Build, optimize, and version-control data transformation workflows with dbt and SQL.
• Implement ELT processes and cloud data warehouse solutions.
• Integrate data from APIs and cloud platforms into centralized data repositories.
• Optimize data pipeline performance, reliability, and data quality.
• Schedule, orchestrate, and monitor data workflows with Apache Airflow.
