Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking a (Junior or Mid) Data Engineer in Warsaw to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and modern data stack tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions, ensuring data quality and security throughout the data lifecycle.

The role emphasizes Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and cost-efficient design, with opportunity for learning platforms and internal upskilling

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Snowflake scripting (stored procedures, UDFs, CTEs, window functions).
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT and Snowflake architecture.
• Familiarity with data modelling concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python).
• English communication skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
