Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a senior data-focused professional to drive analytics and data engineering within a banking environment. You will translate business needs into robust data and application solutions, working with Snowflake, dbt, and SQL in a hybrid setup across Polish offices.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, design data products, and contribute to near real-time pipelines while fostering AI-driven work methods and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, IT Analysis, Data Engineering, or similar analytical roles.
• Proven experience designing data-intensive solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of requirements elicitation techniques and business analysis methodologies.
• Experience with AI solutions, including Copilot, LLMs, and agentic approaches, with the ability to drive adoption of new ways of working.
• Excellent SQL skills, including Snowflake and MS SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyse functional and non-functional requirements by collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.
• Clarify, document, and translate requirements into implementation specifications with Product Owners.
• Perform data mapping, data modelling, and solution design activities.
• Contribute to application architecture and scalable data solutions.
• Design and support near real-time data pipelines and data-driven products.
• Conduct quantitative data analysis to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Create and maintain high-quality requirements documentation (use cases, process descriptions).
• Collaborate with developers, test engineers, and cross-functional teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
