Job summary

AeroVect Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Simulation Engineer to own and extend the simulation tooling for autonomous systems. You will ensure deterministic test outcomes, build scalable cloud-based scenario execution, and improve the evaluation layer that gates releases.

The role emphasizes reproducibility, performance, and coverage across maps and sites. You will work with CARLA, NVIDIA Omniverse, Gazebo, and other simulators, collaborating with the V&V team to deliver robust simulation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• Strong Python with maintainable code in a shared codebase.
• Hands-on simulation experience for autonomous systems with tools like CARLA, Gazebo, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend the simulation environment and interfaces with autonomy stack.
• Maintain and improve integration as stacks evolve, focusing on fidelity and determinism.
• Build and operate cloud-based scenario execution with orchestration and result aggregation.
• Develop evaluation layer turning runs into precise verdicts for gating releases.
• Create failure-triage tooling with clustering and dashboards for engineers.
• Extend scenario authoring tooling across backend and frontend for V&V team.
• Maintain simulation foundations including determinism, performance, and coverage.
