AgileEngine, a remote-first leader in eCommerce platform development, is proactively building a strategic talent pool for high-priority Shopify Plus projects. You will architect, develop, and maintain high-performance Shopify-based solutions, collaborating with senior engineers to drive the eCommerce roadmap and deliver robust platform features.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and its features.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and modern development methodologies.
• Proven experience with page performance optimization, front-end caching, CDNs, and secure development practices.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve site issues using tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-first mindset with empathy and adaptability.
• Experience with Jira and collaborative development environments.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Develop key system components, identify reusable modules, and optimize delivery times.
• Perform deep code analysis, develop patches, and implement new platform features.
• Research platform capabilities and identify opportunities for the eCommerce roadmap.
• Engage with Product Management on system design, capabilities, and innovative solutions.
• Provide first-level Shopify technical support, troubleshoot issues, and conduct postmortems.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical validation.
• Work with the development team to ensure security and performance best practices.
• Support Project Management with effort estimates and planning.
• Proactively identify and remove technical roadblocks.
