Job summary
AgileEngine in Gdańsk, Poland, is proactively building a strategic talent pool for high-priority Shopify Plus projects. The role focuses on architecting, developing, and maintaining high-performance ecommerce solutions for Fortune 500 brands, in a remote-first environment.
You will drive code quality, platform architecture, and roadmap conversations, provide Shopify Plus support, participate in code reviews, and help the team deliver secure, scalable storefronts while collaborating with product
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Shopify development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and its features.
- Solid understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with page performance optimization, caching, CDNs, and secure development practices.
- Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset.
- Familiarity with Jira and collaborative development environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop key Shopify components and modules for high-performance storefronts.
- Perform deep code analysis, patches, and feature implementations.
- Research platform capabilities to inform eCommerce roadmap.
- Collaborate with Product Management on system design and capabilities.
- Provide first-level Shopify technical support and conduct incident postmortems.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure security and performance best practices.
