Job summary
AgileEngine in Poznań is seeking a Senior Shopify Engineer to help architect, develop, and maintain high-performance eCommerce solutions for Fortune 500 brands within a remote-first engineering community.
You will drive code analysis, platform architecture, and roadmap initiatives while delivering Shopify Plus support, contributing to code reviews, and helping the team ship secure, fast commerce experiences.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and its features.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with page performance optimization and secure coding.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Develop key system components and optimize delivery times.
- Perform deep code analysis and implement platform features.
- Research platform capabilities to inform the eCommerce roadmap.
- Collaborate with Product Management on system design and innovations.
- Provide Shopify technical support and conduct incident postmortems.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure security and performance best practices.
- Estimate effort with Project Management and remove technical roadblocks.
- Work with the broader team to uphold engineering excellence.
