AgileEngine is building a strategic talent pool for Shopify Plus projects, seeking a skilled Shopify developer to join a remote-first team. You will architect and maintain high-performance eCommerce solutions, collaborate with senior engineers, and contribute to the roadmap while delivering robust Shopify Plus support.

You will engage with Product, perform code reviews, and focus on secure, scalable delivery in a remote-enabled environment with fast-paced client projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Shopify development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and its features.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and modern methodologies.
• Experience with page performance optimization, caching, CDNs, and secure practices.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve site issues with tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-first mindset, patience and empathy.
• Logical problem-solving with attention to detail and continuous learning.
• Familiarity with Jira and collaborative development environments.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance eCommerce solutions on Shopify Plus.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to drive code quality and reviews.
• Contribute to platform architecture and eCommerce roadmap strategy.
• Provide Shopify Plus technical support and incident handling.
• Engage with Product Management on system design and capabilities.
• Estimate effort and assist in planning with Project Management.
• Identify and remove technical roadblocks.
• Ensure security and performance best practices across the team.
• Participate in code reviews and unit testing.
