Job summary

State Street is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Platform Security Solutions within Technology Platform Engineering & Operations. The role focuses on Windows Server, .NET, MSSQL, and Azure, delivering self-service, scanning, and platform integration capabilities across large-scale enterprise systems.

You will work with Security Software Engineers and Architects to maintain, expand, and create new products, leveraging AI-assisted development techniques for robust cyber-resilient

Qualifications

• Modern C# and .NET (8/9/10) development.
• Experience with Blazor applications or ASP.Net Core.
• Relational Databases, ideally MSSQL.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts incl. IAM and least privilege.
• Knowledge of performance/scale concepts incl. asynchronous code, batch processing, locking, concurrency.
• Experience designing, building, maintaining and complex distributed systems.
• Proven ability to write robust, correct code.
• Familiarity with SDLC tooling (Git, CI/CD, Jira).
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Strong experience with APIs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand existing security software products.
• Develop new products from scratch for enterprise-scale needs.
• Collaborate with Security Engineers and Architects across platforms.
• Work with internally developed distributed systems, portals and data warehouses.
• Apply AI-assisted development techniques such as spec-driven development.
