Job summary

TRANS.EU is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to advance Developer Experience and AI Enablement. The role focuses on building self-service tools, standards, automation, and internal products that empower engineering teams to ship faster and more safely.

You will craft AI-supported workflows, templates, and a developer portal, collaborating with Platform Engineering, SRE, Security, and Product teams to drive adoption of internal platforms across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience building internal tools and platforms for developers.
• Proven track record delivering self-service tooling and automation.
• Strong programming skills for tooling, integrations, and automation (Python/TypeScript/Node.js/Go).
• Solid understanding of cloud environments, especially AWS (note: in this posting AWS is referenced).
• Ability to design clean abstractions and drive adoption with a product mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build self-service tools for engineering teams.
• Transform platform engineering outputs into production-ready internal products.
• Create golden paths for common developer workflows.
• Develop developer portal, service catalog, templates, docs, and integrations.
• Design automation, generators, workflows, and productivity tools.
• Co-create AI-assisted engineering standards and secure workflows.
• Promote tool adoption and provide support to teams.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, SRE, Security, and Product teams.
