Job summary

State Street is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join Platform Security Solutions within the Technology Platform Engineering & Operations division. The role emphasizes automation and orchestration for patching and vulnerability remediation across 30,000+ servers in hybrid environments, using Ansible Automation Platform.

Strong UNIX/Linux and infra automation experience are required to enable internal customers with remediation solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Ansible development experience (Core 2.14+).
• Advanced scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) concepts.
• Linux administration across RHEL 7/8/9.
• Patching automation with RPM-based tools.
• Experience with SDLC tools (GIT, CI/CD, Jira).
• Experience with APIs and ServiceNow integration.
• ITIL-aligned delivery in regulated environments.
