Job summary

State Street in Kraków seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join Platform Security Solutions, focusing on self-service, scanning and platform integrations for enterprise-scale systems. You will design, build, and operate distributed applications across cloud and on-prem environments, emphasizing security and performance.

You will work with C#/.NET, Blazor or ASP.NET Core, MSSQL and APIs, while leveraging cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and modern SDLC tooling.

Qualifications

• Proficient in modern C# and .NET (8/9/10).
• Experience with Blazor applications or ASP.NET Core.
• Relational Databases; MSSQL preferred.
• Strong cybersecurity concepts including Identity & Access Management (IAM) and least privilege.
• Performance and scalability concepts including asynchronous code, batch processing, locking and concurrency.
• Experience designing, building, maintaining and complex distributed systems.
• Strong experience with APIs.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Proficiency with SDLC tooling such as GIT, CI/CD pipelines and Jira.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and migrating workloads to cloud-native.
• Experience with ServiceNow API.
• Experience in a regulated industry.
• Fluency in using LLMs to speed up engineering workflows.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Platform Security Solutions organisation to bolster our Self-Service, Scanning and Platform Integrations function. The role holder will join other Security Software Engineers and Architects on a mission to maintain and expand existing, as well as to develop new products from scratch and operationalize them at the scale of an enterprise. This is a very exciting opportunity to work with multiple internally developed distributed systems, portals and data warehouses serving thousands of IT users and hundreds of thousands of IT assets in one of the world’s largest banks.

What You Will Do

The role holder will design, build, maintain and complex distributed systems, working with Relational Databases, Performance/Scale concepts, and APIs. Experience with public Cloud platforms and migrating or re-architecting workloads from on-prem to cloud-native is preferred.

Requirements
