Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a skilled SAP HANA Developer to design and maintain data models, pipelines, and backend solutions supporting manufacturing, engineering, and operations analytics. You will optimize SAP HANA native models, build ETL workflows, and collaborate with global teams to deliver scalable data architectures.

The role involves ensuring data quality, enabling real-time insights through SAC, and contributing to cross-team SAFe Agile projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, SQLScript
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows in SAP environments
• Familiarity with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA integration into data workflows
• Knowledge of SAP BW environments: InfoObjects, DSOs, Process Chains
• Strong data architecture fundamentals and performance optimization

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models and SQLScript
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines from SAP and non-SAP sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable scalable data flows
• Develop end-to-end data workflows with data quality controls
• Enable real-time insights via SAP Analytics Cloud and visualization tools
• Support analytics, KPI tracking, and insights through SAP HANA backend solutions
• Optimize data processing for large datasets and complex workflows
• Contribute to cross-team projects gathering requirements and delivering tailored solutions
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and deliver incremental value
• Document best practices and maintain knowledge sharing for SAP HANA solutions
