Job summary

EPAM Systems in Katowice, Poland, is seeking a skilled SAP HANA Developer to design and maintain data models, pipelines, and backend solutions for manufacturing and analytics. You will work on native SAP HANA models, ETL pipelines, and real-time dashboards with SAC, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP HANA, strong SAP modeling and ETL experience, and proficiency in Agile/SAFe.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development or equivalent roles in SAP space.
Hands-on with Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures and SQLScript.
Experience building ETL workflows in SAP environments (ECC, S/4HANA).
Experience integrating SAP systems into data workflows.
Optimizing performance for large datasets and complex workflows.
Familiarity with SAP BW environments and related components is a plus.
Strong understanding of data architecture and SAP tooling.
Proficient with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models (Calculation CDS views, procedures, SQLScript).
Build and maintain ETL pipelines from SAP and non-SAP sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable data flows and architectures.
Develop end-to-end data workflows with high data quality and resolve discrepancies.
Enable real-time insights and dashboards via SAC and other tools.
Support analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights with SAP HANA backend solutions.
Optimize data processing performance for large datasets and complex workflows.
Participate in SAFe Agile workflows with sprint planning and retrospectives.
Document best practices and share knowledge on SAP HANA solutions.
