Job summary

EPAM Systems Poland is seeking an experienced SAP HANA Developer to design and maintain data models, pipelines, and backend solutions for manufacturing analytics. You will build ETL workflows, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data platforms and real-time insights.

The role involves SAFe‑aligned agile work, integration with SAC and BW/4HANA tooling, and strong emphasis on data quality and performance.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development or equivalent roles in the SAP space.
Hands-on experience with Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript.
Experience building ETL workflows and SAP integration scenarios.
Familiarity with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and non-SAP data sources.
Strong data architecture and performance optimization skills.
Experience with SAP BW/4HANA tools is a plus.
Proficiency with SAP Web IDE and BW/4HANA tooling.
Proven collaboration across cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models and data pipelines.
Build and maintain ETL pipelines from SAP and non‑SAP sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable scalable analytics and reporting.
Develop end‑to‑end data workflows and ensure data quality.
Work with frontend teams to enable real-time insights via SAC and other tools.
Enhance business processes with analytics, KPI tracking, and insights.
Optimize data processing for large datasets and complex workflows.
Contribute to cross-team projects delivering tailored solutions.
Participate in SAFe agile ceremonies and deliver incremental value.
Document best practices and knowledge sharing for SAP HANA solutions.
