Job summary

GN Group in Warsaw invites a Senior RTR Accountant to join the Finance Record-to-Report team. You will manage fixed asset and project accounting activities, support period-end closing and reporting, and help ensure accurate, timely accounting aligned with IFRS and internal policies.

You will work with local and global stakeholders to deliver reliable financial information, perform GL reconciliations and assist audits while seeking opportunities to streamline and automate processes.

Qualifications

Degree or relevant educational background in accounting, finance, or economics.
Professional accounting experience, including fixed asset and project accounting.
Good understanding of fixed asset capitalization, depreciation and CWIP.
Solid knowledge of IFRS and local accounting requirements.
Experience with ERP systems and MS Office tools, especially Excel.
Fluent in English, written and spoken, with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day RTR activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage fixed asset accounting including capitalization, CWIP, depreciation and disposals.
Prepare and post journal entries in line with policies.
Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
Run GL reconciliations and manage reconciliations of outstanding items.
Post prepaid expense amortization and allocations; support reclassifications.
Assist Group Finance with consolidated reporting and disclosures.
Provide data for management and other finance reporting needs.
Ensure IFRS and local accounting compliance; support audits.
