Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle in Warsaw is seeking an RtR Fixed Asset Accountant to join our international Shared Services Center. You will own end-to-end fixed asset accounting for the USA and Canada, ensuring accuracy of the asset register and alignment with IFRS and US GAAP.

You will work with Finance, Operations and IT across Poland and the United States, support month-end closings, produce asset reports, and drive improvements in the RtR process in a dynamic FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIMA is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on fixed asset accounting.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar.
• Solid understanding of fixed asset accounting, including capitalisation, depreciation, asset transfers and disposals.
• Good knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete fixed asset lifecycle, including acquisitions and disposals.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Calculate and post depreciation in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform monthly reconciliations between the fixed asset subledger and the general ledger.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets.
• Prepare fixed asset reports, analyses and documentation for management and external auditors.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and IT teams to ensure accurate asset tracking and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvements within the RtR process.
