Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking a proficient senior accountant to manage full-cycle bookkeeping, month-end closes, and statutory financial statements for local entities and branches in Poland.

You will oversee tax compliance (CIT, VAT, WHT), coordinate annual audits, and support cross-functional project financing, due diligence, and accounting integration for acquisitions and divestitures. Strong IFRS knowledge and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum with SKwP intermediate certification.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience in multinationals or renewables preferred.
• Proficient with IFRS, Polish accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, audits, tax compliance.
• Strong PC skills, especially MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, month-end closing, statutory financial statement preparation, and headquarters reporting packages for local entities and branches.
• Handle local tax compliance including CIT, VAT, WHT filings and tax authority correspondence.
• Lead or coordinate annual statutory audits and transfer pricing documentation; liaise with auditors.
• Support project development activities, including financial due diligence and accounting integration of acquisitions and divestitures.
• Review and approve payment processes, vendor records, and audit-ready documentation.
• Manage external relationships with tax offices, customs authorities, banks, and audit firms.
• Assist the Finance Manager with additional finance tasks and system updates.
