Takeda in Lodz, Poland, is seeking an experienced R2R Accountant to execute and review complex Record-to-Report activities across Inventory, Intercompany, and General Ledger. You will support month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with policies and SLAs while driving process improvements.

The role requires solid accounting knowledge, several years in R2R or shared services, and fluency in Business English.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles across finance-related areas.
• Several years of R2R experience, preferably with Inventory, Intercompany, and General Ledger.
• Experience in BPO / Shared Services.
• Knowledge of Blackline, SAP, Excel, Hyperion and reporting tools.
• Fluent Business English.
• Strong analytical thinking, ownership and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail, accountability, and resilience under deadlines.
• Stress resistance, discipline and dedication.
• Ability to handle complexity and support others in day-to-day execution.
• Experience with more complex close, balance sheet review, and R2R issue resolution.

Responsabilités

• Perform and review complex accounting activities across Inventory, Intercompany, and General Ledger.
• Support month-end and year-end close deliverables.
• Assist in posting complex journal entries and corrections.
• Process inventory postings, stock movements, and reconciliations.
• Support billing and intercompany transactions including invoice processing and settlement.
• Reconcile balance sheet, inventory, intercompany, and GL accounts; escalate discrepancies.
• Provide independent support to stakeholders requiring deeper accounting knowledge.
• Analyze discrepancies between subledger, intercompany and inventory balances.
• Ensure accurate processing of transactions per policies, controls, and SLAs.
• Provide documentation and support for audits and controls.
• Review accounting treatment for non-standard transactions within R2R.
• Ensure compliance with policies and deadlines.
• Contribute to standardization, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Develop digital mindset and use systems effectively; identify simple improvements.
