Job summary

Nordea Group Technology is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer in the Consumer Finance Service Domain to own automated tests across frontend and backend. You will build robust regression suites and drive test coverage to ensure product quality and secure customer experiences in our digital banking offerings.

The ideal candidate has ISTQB certification, 5+ years in QA automation, strong Java and Playwright with TypeScript skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• ISTQB Certified QA Engineer with 5+ years in QA and test automation.
• Experience with Java, Playwright with TypeScript, REST APIs, Kafka, and 3rd party integrations.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of the product by creating, running, and reporting automated functional and non-functional tests.
• Build and improve test automation scripts to make testing faster, more efficient, and more reliable.
• Drive strong test coverage across frontend, backend, and end-to-end user journeys.
• Be a quality champion by monitoring test results, investigating issues, fixing automation failures, and sharing clear insights that help the team deliver high-quality solutions.
